Dr. Gutierrez is the Founder and CEO of Blue Agave Partners, based in Tempe, Arizona. She brings three decades of experience working with foundations and nonprofits nationwide to work in aligned action to advance results.

 

Dr. Gutierrez’s core values of personal transformation, continual learning, and aligned contributions guide her work. She demonstrates a unique ability to create compassionate ​learning spaces and build relationships rooted in the essence of philanthropy—"love for humanity.”  Her experience with leaders at all levels of an organization and board members to create a vision, develop strategic objectives, and activate courageous organizational leadership is informed by the social sciences, her experience in ontological coaching, and her ongoing study of leadership development.

Raquel has completed the Advanced Results Count Fellowship convened by the Annie E. Casey Foundation to support leaders develop and practice skills over time to become more powerful and effective in their work.

Raquel has completed the Conversations at the Edge program from Cultivating Leadership: Growth Edge Coaching. An approach to coaching to grow leaders capacity to lead in complexity using an adult development approach. 

 

Raquel is certified in offering the Emotional Intelligence (EQ) assessment. EQ is the ability to understand, use, and manage your own emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict.
